Water Treatment: Reverse Osmosis

Since 2007, the dental office has utilized a water decontamination system powered by reverse osmosis.

Through this process, the water is fully decontaminated before entering the dental chairs’ water lines, as well as before feeding the equipment used for instrument decontamination and autoclaves.

The reverse osmosis system is enriched with chlorine dioxide, drastically reducing the bacterial and viral load of the aerosol produced during dental procedures.

Water treated in this manner prevents any cross-contamination within the water circuits while simultaneously cutting down the airborne microbial load in the environment.
